Delighted to be outside caterers at Blackpool’s landmark building

Campbell & Rowley are proud to be appointed outside caterers for guests at the iconic Blackpool Tower venue and have been responsible for providing the hospitality at the prestigious Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBA’s) since 2015. Feeding 1,000 guests on three floors is a huge challenge and a tremendous honour for us, but we also have provided the hospitality for 500 revellers in the Ballroom for the Tower Christmas Party nights and for 500 guests at the Blackpool Gay Pride Ball. In addition, we have provided outside catering for party nights in the spooky Blackpool Dungeons and have cooked and served for lovers on Valentines Night at the top of the Tower.

 

“Bid Me Discourse, I Will Enchant Thine Ear”

So reads the inscription above the stage in the beautiful, world famous Tower Ballroom, which is the jewel in the crown of the Blackpool Tower complex, but there is so much more to this venue, than the 518 ft Tower and the best and most famous Ballroom in the world.

Opened in 1894, this iconic Grade 1 listed venue was based on the Eiffel Tower and remained family owned as late as the mid 60’s. The Tower still hosts the unique Blackpool Tower Circus which still plays to packed audiences and each show finale still features the ring filling with 42,000 gallons of water and the “dancing fountains”.
