The Campbell & Rowley team were delighted to be back at The Blackpool Tower on 26th April 2018 to cater for the Rowland’s Pharmacy Awards Dinner.
A great night of celebration that kicked off with reception drinks in the Tower Eye overlooking Blackpool’s iconic sea front. Once the guests had quenched their thirsts, they were lead into the beautiful Tower Ballroom which was decorated spectacularly with white chair covers, lined with shimmering gold and black bows. As the guests took to their seats, they were entertained by a highly skilled beatboxer who set the atmosphere for the rest of the evening. Once this had finished, the Campbell & Rowley team took over and began dinner service.
This elegant evening called for one of Campbell & Rowley’s finest menus. The guests were transported to the Mediterranean as they delved into one of two fabulous starters; Chorizo Wafers served with Roast Pepper, Air Dried Tomato, Roasted Mediterranean Vegetable Manchego and Tomato Salsa, or the vegetarian option of Heritage Tomato salad served with Feta, Watermelon, Roquito Pepper and a Balsamic glaze. This light, refreshing starter was followed by a hearty main course which comprised of a Pressed Shoulder of Lamb served with Crushed New Potatoes, a Pea and Mint Puree, Fondant Carrots, Crispy Leeks and Mint Gravy. Those who didn’t want this option were served a Vegetarian Sweet Potato Shepherd’s Pie that looked and smelt delicious. The guests were then served one of Campbell & Rowley’s signature desserts – Rowley’s Chocolate Plant Pot with an edible garden. This was washed down with a warm cup of tea or coffee with an after-dinner mint chocolate crisp.
Once dinner service had come to an end, the guests were invited back to their tables for the section of the night they had all been waiting for – the awards ceremony!
Many thanks to Kathryn Gill from Rowland’s Pharmacy and The Blackpool Tower Team for having Campbell & Rowley cater for such a celebratory event – the team look forward to the next one!
