This September we had the privilege of Catering for the UK’s largest agricultural, equine and pet products wholesaler, TRILANCO who were hosting the official opening of their new Warehouse with long serving customers, staff and friends.
Bosses Martin and Lisa Balmer put on a show stopping event in partnership with Passion4Events, James Jebson photography, CK Marquees, Six15Events and of course ourselves Campbell & Rowley Catering and Events!
The warehouse was absolutely huge, so big CK Marquee’s could fit one of the largest marquee’s we have ever worked in, inside it!
The night starter off with the guests arriving for a champagne reception accompanied by the sounds of Six15, the Live Lounge Track by Kele Le Roc & Basement Jaxx – Romeo, really set the mood, what an awesome song!
After the reception and a bit of mingling at the retro games machines that were present, the guests were called to dine for their spectacular 4 course banquet.
Paul Rowley was introduced onto the stage by Mr Martin Balmer to give some more information about the local menu which we had been preparing for months with Trilanco.
For Paul to go on stage and talk about his dishes passionately was a really nice touch, it certainly got the guests drooling over the imminent arrival of their very own food festival!
The Menu for the night consisted of a Lancashire Tasting Plate starter, which had individual Chicken Liver Pate’s, Ham Hock and Lancashire Cheese Bombs, Air Dried Ham Wafers and a Blackpool Moss Tomato Salsa, every single product was sourced locally!
The Main was a Blade of Lancashire Beef cooked in our Sous Vide Machines, Hand Cut Dauphinoise Potatoes, Honey Root Vegetables, Roasted Carrot, Green Beans and a red wine jus.
The dessert was our White Chocolate Apple… say no more!
A locally sourced Cheese board topped off the meal along with our local friends from Lytham Coffee’s speciality blend!
Once the banquet was finished it was time to reveal the big secret, a speech was made by Martin Balmer and all of a sudden the Curtains dropped on one side of the marquee…. What was behind it?
A full fun fair including Dodgems, Coconut Shy, Hook a Duck and a whole host of other fairground attractions, it really was a show stopper.
The party then commenced with SIX15Events leading the way with the sounds of the future, they really know how to get the crowd moving, this continued into the night even early morning!
